Mission Statement for the Outreach Program at St. Richard Parish

The Outreach Program at St. Richard’s Parish supports our parish community by promoting the spirituality and growth of the parish family. More importantly this program focuses on finding ways to allow people in need to live in their communities with dignity and honor. Our Outreach Program includes financial support, individual and group service projects and physical donations of food, clothing, and school supplies.

The Outreach Program will be dedicated to the support of our Parish needs, our local community efforts, as well as specific parish initiatives as defined by the Pastor.

The Outreach Program will seek support from the various ministry groups, including the Hospitality and Social Committee, to help achieve the objectives of the Outreach Program. St. Richard Parish is committed to building a cohesive community within the Parish and supporting the larger community outside the Parish.

Our Outreach Program includes financial support, individual and group service projects and physical donations of food, clothing, and school supplies to quite a number of charitable programs. (See attached detailed list)

It’s impossible to quantify the number of people these and the other programs we support help each and every day, except to say that it is growing. We do know we couldn’t do it without your support, and we thank every one of you for your contributions, and would welcome your future involvement in the outreach programs at the parish.

We hope you will continue to watch the bulletin for information on how our parish community is contributing to those in need during this difficult economic time, and we thank you very much for your contributions of Time, Talent and Treasures. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to any of the Parish Council members.
